The Role

• Handle a diverse caseload including care proceedings, PLO matters, private law children’s cases, and domestic abuse injunctions.
• Provide advice on unmarried couples, cohabitation disputes, and general family law matters.
• Undertake their own advocacy and work independently or as part of a team.
• Supervise or support junior staff as needed.
• Contribute to the firm’s business development and reputation locally.

The Person

• Must be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years’ PQE in family law.
• Have solid experience working under legal aid, with a good understanding of procedures and billing.
• Willing to undertake panel accreditation (if not already accredited).
• Commercially aware and capable of generating private work.
• Open to networking and building client relationships.
• IT-literate and comfortable working in a paperless, tech-enabled office.
• Preferably have a following (though not essential).
